My name is Lance Tyson and I am a life-long democrat. I want to be your choice for State Representative of the 10th District. I earned the support of the Democratic Party Committeemen from the 10th Legislative District to represent the newly formed 10th District Unity Party in the Nov. 6th general elections to run against the indicted incumbent.
I am running for this seat because families just like mine, deserve a better choice than what we currently have. It is my intention to provide the families of the 10th District with that choice.
In these times, our families across the District from Garfield to Wicker Park, from North Lawndale to Lincoln Park share many of the same concerns. We want job opportunities, good schools, safe neighborhoods — and responsible representation. Having an effective State Representative can positively impact the lives of those in the 10th District.

I recognize that 10th District residents have gone long enough without engaged representation and now, more than ever, is not the time for on the job training — in fact, now is not the time to have an official distracted by a criminal trial.
Now is the time for a leader committed to serving the taxpayer’s interests.
I’m humbled to have received the support of the Democratic Party, as well as our community leaders and officials. The support I am most eager to earn is that of the 10th District voters.
